Death Valley
The lowest point in the entire western hemisphere is found in Death Valley California. Death Valley is home to many exciting natural attractions including Titus Canyon, Scotty's Castle, the Death Valley Sand Dunes, and much more.
Rhyolite
Rhyolite is a small Nevada ghost town just a few miles west of Beatty. Once home to over 10,000 hopeful miners, Rhyolite was the busiest mining town of southern Nevada. Today Rhyolite is a popular spot to tour and get a taste of the past. The ghost town is also a popular location for movie sets.
Amargosa Valley
The rural farming community of Amargosa Valley is a half hour's drive away from Beatty. There you'll find a wide array of people, buildings, and of course the Amargosa Sand Dunes. They are located in the center of the valley and attract visitors of all kinds. Some have even called it, "an outdoorsman's delight." It is a popular place to ride dirt bikes and ATVs
